I started reading The Book Thief some time ago, but only recently found the time to actually focus on it without escaping into Westeros. I must say, it's a lovely book with a wonderful narrative voice and a surprisingly cheerful narrator, considering the fact that it's Death we're talking about here. Who would've thought a book about WWII narrated by Death himself could be described in terms of lovely and cute instead of gore gore blood gore sad killmenow oh god why. Basically.
Overall, 5 stars. Would recommend.
Oh, and here's a Hitler gif that sums up my feels about this book:
